Windows 10 will be retired with Windows 7 in the graveyard of bygone Microsoft operating systems. Probably not. A lot of people are still using Windows 7 and 8 on their computers and have never switched to Windows 10. However, it is recommended that you use the latest software in order to receive security updates. Without security updates, your computer is at risk from malware and other vulnerabilities that can expose you to hacks, viruses, and more.

Will the Windows 11 upgrade be completely free?

Yes sir. Free upgrades to eligible Windows 10 PCs will be available once Microsoft launches Windows 11 on October 5th. The free upgrades will continue until 2022. If you’re still using Windows 7 but want to upgrade to Windows 11, you’ll need to upgrade to Windows 10 first to be eligible.

When will Windows 11 support end?
