UNI Football is hosting 2 free spring events for fans on April 22-23

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – UNI football fans have two ways to celebrate the spring season with a Tailgate event on April 22nd and the annual game on April 23rd.

Both family-friendly events are free. The spring tailgate event on April 22 begins at 5:30 p.m. and includes free food for fans and a prize drawing. Beer is sold on site.

The youngest UNI fans are treated in a skills clinic led by Panther sports students. The clinic is free, but youth from kindergarten through eighth grade are encouraged to enroll. REGISTER BY CLICKING HERE.

This is an opportunity for the community to hear from coaches and players and meet the new faces of the football program. It’s also an opportunity to see them Doug & Ann Goschke Practice Facility north of the UNI Dome. In the event of bad weather, the event can be moved to the UNI Dome. Season passes can be purchased or extended.

On the following day, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., UNI football is hosting its annual spring game in the UNI Dome. The event is also free and showcases the latest student-athletes.
