Swimming & diving for women beat Gannon 174-125
ROCHESTER, NY – RIT junior KhaVy Sangasy, Student in the first year Kimberly Dobie and first time divers Kaylea Oliver each won two individual events to lead the Tigers to a 174-125 win against Division II at Gannon University from the Judson Pool on Saturday.
Sangasy won 100 breaststrokes (1: 07.40) and 200 breaststrokes (2: 29.19). Dobie was a winner in the 100 back (1: 01.21) and the 100 freestyle (54.91). The duo helped the Tigers to win the 200 medley relay (1: 50.46) and the 400 freestyle relay (3: 41.01).
Freshmen diver Kaylea Oliver was a winner in 1-meter diving and finished with a six-dive score of 201.45. She was a winner in the 3-meter competition with a six-dive score of 215.45.
RIT is 5-0 in dual meetings and returns to duty on Saturday, November 20 at 5:00 p.m. at Ithaca College.
