Samsung Galaxy S21 One UI 4.1 is said to be released by the end of February

New updates will be added at the end of this story…….

Original story (published February 21, 2022) follows:

The Samsung Galaxy S22 series of mobile devices has recently been launched. However, the Samsung Galaxy S21 range (its predecessors) still has some of the highest-end smartphones with a bright future ahead of it.

Samsung is one of the companies offering extended software support for its phones. As expected, the high-end models will have priority to receive updates.

As an example of the above, the One UI 4.0 stable update (based on Android 12) has been available for the S21 series (Galaxy S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra) since mid-November last year.

Since then, the company has been working on One UI 4.1. As the name suggests, it is an incremental update with some new features and improvements that Samsung smartphone users will appreciate.

Now, thanks to tipster Matthew Reiter, we have a potential One UI 4.1 rollout date for the series.

The launch of One UI 4.1 for the Samsung Galaxy S21 series could start at the end of February

Reiter shared with us some screenshots of an alleged conversation with the Verizon support team. The conversation turned to the arrival date of the One UI 4.1 update.

In the screenshots, the Verizon support agent notes that the One UI 4.1 rollout says it will begin between the end of this month (February) and early March.

In another reply, Verizon Support points out that the UI 4.1 update release for the Samsung Galaxy S21 range is expected to start later this month (February).

Might only be for the Ultra variant at first

However, it appears that only the Galaxy S21 Ultra model will receive the One UI 4.1 update during this period. There is currently no indication as to whether the vanilla S21 and S21+ will receive the update at the same time.

It seems unlikely that the entire S21 series will get the One UI 4.1 update at once. However, this is just speculation at the moment.

We will update this story when new details or tips about Samsung Galaxy S21 One UI 4.1 update come out.
