Safe at sea: French fire brigade orders another RescueRunner system

0

We are very pleased to announce that the emergency services of the Gers Department, SDIS 32 in the southwest France ordered their first RescueRunner system.

Via our French distributor Fire Technologies Eurl, another department of the fire rescue service in France Order a RescueRunner system. The fire brigade will primarily use the new RescueRunner as reinforcement in the event of flooding in the area. The RescueRunner system is a very flexible and efficient boat system that can be used in shallow and inaccessible waters. Decisive for the choice of the fire brigade’s boat system was the unbeatable durability of the RescueRunner, the maneuverability, the water jet drive, which enables use in shallow water and the unique possibility of cleaning the water jet from above through the water jet cleaning hatch.

The RescueRunner system was once developed by the Swedish Maritime Rescue Organization for rescue operations in shallow and rocky areas where other boats cannot go.

This order of the fire brigade Gers, SDIS in the southwest France is the second order for the French fire rescue services in 2021. Our RescueRunner system has proven itself in these operations by several other fire rescue services, for example the SDIS in Orleans, Grenoble and Melun and others. We hope that other departments will follow and integrate the RescueRunner systems into their fleet.

We are very pleased that more and more fire departments around the world are discovering the versatility and user-friendliness of the RescueRunner system. We are very grateful that SDIS32 trusted and selected our products and we wish them all the best, says Linda Ahl, VP Sales & Business Development at Safe at sea AB (public).

The RescueRunner system will be shipped in the fourth quarter of 2021.

Order value approx. 345 000 SEK
