Pineville’s Main Street Truck Park is ready for warm weather and fun

PINEVILLE, La. (CALF) – Main Street Truck Park in Pineville has made some big additions over the past few months in preparation for the warm weather.

What started as a small farmer’s market and a few food trucks has grown into the perfect downtown Pineville food hub with five food trucks, a locally-produced stand and fun entertainment for the whole family.

“We have a lot of games out here. We want to see families out here coming and playing,” said Tyler Crochet, owner of Pineville Farm Stand and Truly Cajun Market. “We have a kids park, volleyball net, tetherball, cornhole, slides and lots of games.”

Main Street Truck Park manager Amanda Kowatz said staff have worked through the COVID pandemic to rebuild the park better than ever and the staff there are ready for a big summer.

“This past spring and summer, it bounced back with Farm Stand and Truly Cajun, and we got the Perian Express, the Penne Express, and then came Jesse’s Java,” Kowatz said. “So we’re just waiting for the good weather and people to come out.”

After the truck park was filled and ready for use, they thanked the community of central Louisiana for their support along the way.

“The Pineville team and community have been very supportive and we expect that we will only grow,” Crochet said. “More food trucks, more events, more options, more things to do in downtown Pineville. We just expect downtown Pineville and Main Street Truck Park to grow.”

Main Street Truck Park is located on Main Street in Pineville and is open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. You can visit the Main Street Truck Park Facebook page CLICK HERE.
