The coyotes

South Dakota (4-3) failed to record their first away win in Nebraska or San Jose State, but remains unbeaten at home. Bricklayer Archambault has made nine 3-point points in the last two games and has reached a career high of 21 points at San Jose State. Kruz Perrott Hunt continues to lead the team in the ranking.

the Warriors

Waldorf, an NAIA program based out of Forest City, Iowa, is 2-7 in its young season. The Warriors are led by Senior Guard Quincy Minor Jr., who averages 14 points per game. He leads five Waldorf starters with an average of nine to 14 points per night. The Warriors average seven threes per game and shoot 40 percent out of the field.

The series

This is the second match between these two programs. South Dakota defeated Waldorf 84-59 in Vermillion during the 2012-13 campaign.

One last thing

South Dakota is among the best in the nation when it comes to hitting the charity streak. Four Coyotes – Perrott Hunt, Archambault, Xavier Fuller and Hunter Goodrick – Place in the top 10 of the summit for free throw attempts. Archambault has the nation’s 17th best free throw percentage with 93.8 percent.
