Amazon introduces free shipping software for sellers, including discounted shipping rates

At Amazon’s recent annual seller conference – Accelerate – the e-commerce giant announced the US launch of Veeqo, a multi-channel shipping software designed to simplify fast-growing e-commerce. Acquired by Amazon earlier this year, Veeqo helps sellers reduce shipping costs while increasing the speed of processing customer orders.

Sellers using Veeqo can connect their sales channels, including Amazon, eBay, Etsy, and Shopify, and access discounted rates on UPS, US Postal Service, DHL, and FedEx. Veeqo’s Rate Shopping feature imports sellers’ orders and automatically finds the lowest available shipping cost based on size and weight.

Veeqo CEO Matt Warren founded the company in 2013 when he was an online seller who needed software that would make shipping orders from multiple sales channels cheaper and easier.

“As a seller, I found shipping orders and managing inventory across multiple channels was time-consuming and error-prone,” Warren said. “The shipping management software available was complicated, lacked the right features, or was designed for an enterprise-scale retailer. I have developed a system that caters to the needs of all multichannel sellers. sell and ship orders across multiple channels with just a few clicks, and with Veeqo they can.”

Previously priced at an average of $450 per month, Veeqo is now free for all sellers. Sellers who ship through Veeqo only pay for the carrier labels they choose, with no monthly fees.

Veeqo provides key tools to help sellers reduce shipping costs, including:

  • Amazon Certified Integration: Log into Amazon, import orders and instantly access the lowest shipping rates available through Veeqo thanks to an integration with Amazon’s Buy Shipping service. Avoid late deliveries and negative customer feedback.
  • Shipping automation: Ship bulk orders of up to 100 orders, automatically selecting the lowest rates, and automatically send tracking emails to customers as orders are fulfilled, saving sellers time and money.
  • Brand your shipping: Ensure a consistent brand experience with branded packing slips and invoices.

Veeqo plans to launch powerful new business features for free soon, including:

  • Inventory synchronization: Automatically sync inventory across Amazon, eBay, Etsy, and Shopify.
  • Track inventory and buy: Veeqo offers a complete inventory management solution that makes it easy to track and count inventory across locations, manage bundles, and email orders to suppliers
  • Digital picking: Pick and pack orders faster and avoid 99% of errors with the added accuracy of the Veeqo scanner and mobile app.

Reporting and Forecasting: Generate reports that provide actionable insights, enabling sellers to make smarter inventory decisions based on inventory performance, historical inventory, and financial information.

“Veeqo eliminates the need to manage a multichannel store and has reduced our shipping time by 30%,” said Corbin Bare, owner of River Valley Gems.

Veeqo is available now for Amazon sellers in the US, with early access to new features ahead of the new features’ full rollout later this year. Existing UK based sellers will get free access to Veeqo’s legacy product starting today, followed by a full UK rollout of the new features.
